• All children from Reception to Year 2 are eligible to claim a free school meal.  If your child is in Year 3 or above, you are eligible for a free school meal if you claim the following benefits: 
  Universal credit 

• support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 

You may be entitled to a free school meal if you: 

• are in receipt of income-related Employment and Support Allowance 

• receive the guarantee element of Pension Credit 

• meet criteria set out in separate guidance for families with no recourse to public funds. 

If your household earnings are £7400 or less, the school is able to claim further funding to support learning. This is known as Targeted Free School Meals.
